Jun 05, 2012 Rating Jenn-Air 720-0336 by: Gail Have had this grill for 3 years and is doing the same thing. The flames shoot towards the knobs on the inside of the grill. My husband took it apart and cleaned it out and put some heat resistant epoxy on some of the parts. Fired up the grill and within in 10 min fire was shooting from all the knobs that I had on. So before I could cook a steak on it, it was turned off.....frustrated! I paid over $800.00 thinking I wouldn't be buying a grill every 3 years and here we go. Gonna call the service dept. about the issue if that doesn't work I don't no what I will do with it. I only bought the grill because Bobby Flay was cooking on it on Food Network and thought the price was high but the quality would be there.....Not! I am hoping the service department will be able to help us out.

Jul 11, 2010 Rating lovely to look at but short lifespan by: Randy L I was looking for a replacement cover for my Jenn air grill when I came across this site. I have had this grill for about three years and I live in southern Cal and keep the grill covered when not in use. But low and behold when I went to use it in early spring it would not light. So I removed the grills and the flame directors and I was shocked to see some of the holes on the burners were plugged and each of the three burners was slightly warped. I fought the cotter keys (I eventually won) and was able to remove the burners. Used a small drill to clean all of the holes in the burners and yes a lot of debris came out of each burner. Also the igniter rods and the metal that they arc to (to start the gas burning) were heavily corroded and almost impossible to clean-up enough in order to re-establish operation. For the money I paid, I think next time I will get a low cost grill and plan to replace it every 3 years or so. But it looks pretty on the outside--what a disappointment.
